What you are applying for

The people in the room are navigating the hardest thing they have faced.

The DO.ITChange™ Intensive is a structured, facilitated program that guides individuals through one of the most significant transitions of their professional or personal lives. Depending on the intensive type, the program runs four, five, or six weeks.

The people who sit in these intensives are navigating layoffs, career pivots, medical diagnoses, relationship endings, new chapters in family life, grief, organizational transitions, and the kind of life changes that do not come with instructions.

A DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator is not a trainer delivering a curriculum. They are a professionally trained guide holding a structured space for genuine internal navigation. The work is consequential. The standard reflects that.

“We are not looking for the most credentialed applicant. We are looking for the person we would trust with someone going through one of the hardest transitions of their life.”

The credentials you will earn

Three credentials, earned in sequence.

Each credential carries different rights and responsibilities. Understanding the distinction between them is important before you begin.

01

DO.ITChange™ Method Certification

Demonstrates practitioner-level knowledge of the DO.ITChange™ Method and your ability to professionally apply its principles within your own work.

Does not authorize you to teach, certify, or train others in the DO.ITChange™ Method.

02

Faria-Lequay Shift Pattern Index™ Certification

Authorizes you to administer, interpret, and professionally debrief the Faria-Lequay Shift Pattern Index™ (SPI™) as part of approved DO.ITChange™ Intensives.

03

DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator

Licensure authorizes you to commercially facilitate approved DO.ITChange™ Intensives using the DO.ITChange™ Method.

Does not authorize you to teach the Method, certify practitioners, or train future facilitators. Those rights remain exclusively with Soleil Edge Enterprises unless separately granted in writing.

Your journey

Six sequential phases.

You are currently at Phase 1. Each phase builds upon the one before it. Advancement is earned through demonstrated competency.

01

Application You are here

Submit your written application, professional background, video submission, references, and resume. Your application is reviewed to determine whether you possess the experience, professionalism, and facilitation potential required to continue.

02

Selection Interview

Qualified applicants participate in a 45-minute live interview, designed to evaluate communication style, professional judgment, interpersonal presence, and alignment with the standards of the program.

03

DO.ITChange™ Method Certification

Develop practitioner-level knowledge of the DO.ITChange™ Method, including its research foundation, philosophy, framework, and professional application. Successful completion results in certification in the methodology, not authorization to teach it.

18 hours over three consecutive days

04

Faria-Lequay Shift Pattern Index™ Certification

Become certified to administer, interpret, and debrief the proprietary SPI™ assessment for participants enrolled in approved DO.ITChange™ Intensives.

Six hours over one day

05

Intensive Facilitation Training

Translate your certifications into professional facilitation practice. Develop the competencies required to facilitate every stage of a DO.ITChange™ Intensive, manage group dynamics, uphold methodology fidelity, and prepare for your Licensing Assessment.

10 live hours and 15 self-guided hours over five weeks

06

Licensure

Complete your supervised Licensing Assessment. Candidates who successfully demonstrate competency are awarded the DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator credential and granted commercial delivery rights for approved DO.ITChange™ Intensives.

Admission to the certification program does not guarantee licensure. Licensure is earned through demonstrated competency at each stage.

What licensure gives you

A credential, a platform, and a practice.

You are not an employee of Soleil Edge. You are an independent credentialed professional delivering under your own practice or through enterprise partner channels.

Delivery rights

Deliver DO.ITChange™ Intensives commercially — independently to your own clients, through employer-sponsored programs, or through Soleil Edge enterprise partner channels.

Assessment rights

Administer the Faria-Lequay Shift Pattern Index™ (SPI™) to intensive participants — the proprietary change archetype assessment administered at the intake of every intensive.

The credential

The DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator designation for professional marketing and client communications, plus listing in the Licensed Facilitator directory on doitchangemethod.com.

Platform access

Facilitation guides, participant workbooks, slide decks, outcomes reporting tools, SPI™ administration interface, quality dashboard, and peer community.

Your own pricing

You set your own pricing as an independent professional. Standard intensive pricing is $1,200 per participant. The per-assessment SPI™ fee of $45 per participant is payable to Soleil Edge and factored into your pricing.

Enterprise referrals

Licensed facilitators in good standing are first in line for partner-assigned cohorts. Cohorts assigned through enterprise channels come with a fixed participant population — no independent marketing required.

Who we are looking for

The professional background matters less than you might expect.

We are not primarily looking for change management practitioners. We are looking for people who can hold a room through difficult emotional territory with warmth, precision, and genuine care for the people in front of them. The human qualities matter more.

You may be a strong candidate if you are

  • An organizational change management practitioner, HR professional, or people leader who has worked with individuals through significant workplace transitions and felt the limits of organizational-layer support
  • A coach, therapist, counselor, or social worker who works with individuals in career, health, or life transitions and wants a structured methodology to complement your existing practice
  • An employment specialist, career counselor, or outplacement professional who supports people navigating job loss and career change
  • A healthcare professional, patient navigator, or health coach who supports individuals through medical transitions and treatment decisions
  • An athletic coach, sports performance professional, or athlete transition specialist working with athletes navigating the transition out of competitive sport
  • A professional in any field with significant lived experience of a major life transition and a background in facilitation, training, or group work

You are probably not the right fit if

  • Your primary motivation is the income opportunity and the work itself is secondary
  • You have not facilitated groups professionally, or have significant discomfort with uncertainty in a group setting
  • You rely exclusively on advising, directing, and problem-solving and are uncomfortable holding space, sitting with silence, or working through emotional complexity with others
  • You prefer to let the process unfold without actively shaping it and are not comfortable stepping in to deepen a surface-level response or help someone build something more concrete
Illustrative economics

What the work can produce.

Standard intensive pricing is $1,200 per participant. A cohort of 10 generates $12,000 gross; four intensives per year generates $48,000 gross.

$1,200
Standard intensive pricing, per participant
$12,000
Gross from a single cohort of 10 participants
$48,000
Gross from four intensives per year

Figures are illustrative examples based on standard pricing and are not projections, guarantees, or representations of earnings. Actual results depend on your market, pricing, enrollment, and business practices. The per-assessment SPI™ fee of $45 per participant is payable to Soleil Edge and factored into your pricing.

Your investment

Time and money.

This is not just a financial decision. Understanding the time commitment first gives the financial investment the context it deserves.

Time investment

DO.ITChange™ Method Certification 3 consecutive days · 6 hrs/day
Faria-Lequay SPI™ Certification 1 day · 6 hrs
Licensed Facilitator Program facilitation training 5 weeks · 2 live hrs weekly
+ 3–4 hrs independent practice
Licensing assessment 45 min observed facilitation

Total time from program start to licensure is typically eight to twelve weeks depending on cohort scheduling. This is not a self-paced program. Live attendance at all sessions is required, and the supervised practice sessions cannot be completed asynchronously.

Financial investment

$7,998
All-inclusive · due at enrollment

This single fee covers all three components of the pathway:

  • DO.ITChange™ Method Certification — three-day practitioner credential
  • Faria-Lequay SPI™ Certification — one-day assessment administration credential
  • Licensed Facilitator Program — multi-week facilitation training ending with the licensing assessment

Financing options are available. Following licensure, an annual platform fee of $2,400 maintains your credential, platform access, and delivery rights. There is no additional cost to renew beyond the annual fee and the quality check requirement. At standard pricing, a cohort of 10 participants would gross $12,000, though enrollment and results vary. What takes longer to recoup is the time. Apply only if you are ready to give what is required.

Building your practice

Two ways to operate.

Both options grant the same professional license and commercial delivery rights. The difference is how you choose to operate your business.

Option 1

Independent Practice

$2,400 annual license renewal
  • Your DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator credential
  • Commercial delivery rights for approved Intensives
  • Annual license renewal
  • Required facilitator resources and program updates
  • Access to the Licensed Facilitator community
  • Eligibility for enterprise referral opportunities

Ideal if you already have an established business or prefer to manage your own technology and client experience. You build and maintain your own website, CRM, scheduling, payments, communications, and materials delivery. The credential, the methodology, and the community are yours. The infrastructure is yours to build.

Option 2

Hosted Facilitator Platform

$249/mo + $1,999 annual renewal · $4,987/yr
  • Branded facilitator portal
  • Participant registration
  • Client management (CRM)
  • Cohort management
  • Session scheduling
  • Participant communications
  • Resource library
  • Forms and assessments
  • Intensive materials
  • SPI™ administration
  • Progress tracking
  • Reporting tools
  • Business management tools
  • Future platform enhancements

For context: a basic CRM, scheduling platform, and participant communication tool alone will cost an independent facilitator $300 or more per month before they have built anything. The hosted platform gives you all of that plus the Intensive materials, SPI™ administration, reporting, and cohort management — purpose-built for this work.

The application

Five components. All required.

An incomplete application will not be reviewed. Take your time with each one.

01

Written responses

Answer each question fully. Word counts are maximums, not targets.

  • Why do you want to become a DO.ITChange™ Licensed Facilitator? Max 500 words
  • Which intensive vertical are you applying to facilitate, and why? Max 400 words
  • Describe a time you supported someone through a significant change or transition. Max 300 words
02

Professional background

Current role, relevant certifications with issuing body and year, your experience working with people through transitions, and your lived experience in your chosen vertical. Personal experience in the vertical you are applying to facilitate is required.

03 · Most important component

Video submission

You have seven minutes. Teach us something meaningful — anything you know well, care about deeply, or have personal experience with — and engage your audience while you do it.

You are not evaluated on the topic. We are watching for precision, warmth, presence, whether you engage the audience or lecture at them, and whether there is structure to what you share. Do not over-produce this. One take, natural lighting, a quiet room. Submit as an unlisted YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive link.

04

Professional references

Two professional references who can speak to your facilitation ability, professional conduct, and character. At least one must be someone you have facilitated, trained, coached, or led. We contact references directly using a structured questionnaire — letters are not required. Notify them before you submit.

05

Resume or CV

Your current resume or CV. No required format; PDF preferred. It should represent your professional background accurately.

Questions

Before you begin.

How long does review take?

Applications are reviewed within 10 business days. All applicants receive a written decision.

Does acceptance into the program guarantee licensure?

No. Admission to the certification program does not guarantee licensure. Licensure is earned through demonstrated competency at each stage, not through completion of training alone.

Can I teach the DO.ITChange™ Method once licensed?

No. Licensure authorizes commercial facilitation of approved DO.ITChange™ Intensives. It does not authorize you to teach the Method, certify practitioners, or train future facilitators. Those rights remain exclusively with Soleil Edge Enterprises unless separately granted in writing.

Is the program self-paced?

No. Live attendance at all sessions is required. The facilitation training component includes supervised practice sessions that cannot be completed asynchronously.

Do I need lived experience in the vertical I want to facilitate?

Yes. Personal experience in your chosen intensive vertical is required. This is not about having all the answers — it is about having genuinely navigated the territory you will be guiding others through.

Is financing available?

Yes. The $7,998 program fee is due at enrollment, and financing options are available.
